This course will cover the history of the labor movement in the United States and particularly in New York State. The course will provide administrators in public sector organizations an in-depth understanding of labor law practices and principles. The law will be summarized so students will devote more attention to practical up-to-date negotiation strategies. Students will engage in a simulated contract dispute and contract negotiation. |

| M.O.A. project | This course presented our cohort with the task of developing a memorandum of agreement between two parties, the administration and the union. Each member played an integral role in completing this task. |
